A Note of Thanks:

Dear PBOC Family,

Words cannot express the gratitude both Ed and I felt for all the prayers that were said and Masses celebrated for him during his 15-month fight with cancer.  It was such a comfort to both of us knowing so many people cared.  May God bless you all for your love and goodness.  You truly are my PBOC family.

“If anyone would serve me,” says Jesus in today’s Gospel, “Let him follow me; where I am, there will my servant be.”  In what way is Jesus inviting me to follow Him?  What service is He asking of me?

(See John 12:26)

The Catholic Communications Campaign Collection will be taken up next weekend, May 16-17.  Your support will insure the continued availability of media resources that promote Gospel values and foster the pastoral teachings of the Catholic Church.

Chefs Needed for Saturdays - To continue Fr. Pat’s Saturday Morning Breakfast Program for the needy in our community, we are looking for a few good chefs and chef’s helpers to volunteer their time and talents one Saturday morning every six weeks from 7:30 to 10:00 AM (approx.).
