StewardshipGraphic

In today’s second reading, St. Paul tells the Corinthians (and us) that all of our gifts are from God and that they are given, not for ourselves alone, but for the common good.  But the generosity of God knows no limits – the miracle at Cana reminds us that whenever we faithfully do as God asks, He can change our gifts of water into wine!

Respect life

In all the dioceses of the United States of America, January 22 (or January 23 when January 22 falls on a Sunday) shall be observed as a particular day of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion, and of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life.  Len Vercellotti will be speaking before all Masses that weekend.

The Pro-Life Prayer Vigil sponsored by Grand Strand Citizens for Life will be held on Friday, January 22, at 7:30 PM at "The Father's House" (formerly was "The Purple Church") and is located on 17-bypass near Farrow Parkway. The prayer vigil marks the 37th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision that led to the legalization of abortion in all 50 states.
