He is risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Happy Easter everyone and I’d like to give you an update in regard to the Tastes at Pawleys fundraiser event at Precious Blood.
The last Sunday of April is the normal time of year when we host our very popular and successful event. Sadly we are unable to host this year, for the second year in a row, because of the pandemic; however, we do plan to hold the event next year on Sunday, April 24, 2022 so please book your calendars.
As you know this is a very important fundraiser for Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen and despite the pandemic and having to close down Founders Hall for dine-in meals, we have been able to share meals with those in need. Through your continued support and donations, we have partnered with local restaurants to have catered meals available by way of drive-through on Wednesdays and Thursdays on our campus.
In the next month or two we will begin renovations to improve our facility at Founders Hall as our first project to execute in our Bicentennial Campaign. We hope that this work will be completed by the end of the Summer and that we will be able to offer meals for our patrons inside our building in early Fall.
Thank you all for your generous support to Father Pat‘s Lunch Kitchen, our Outreach Ministries, and our Bicentennial Campaign.
May the risen Lord shower you with His peace and joy.
Rev. Paul MacNeil
