Adult Education and our RCIA program
“Come and See”
Are you curious about the Roman Catholic Faith? Are you the non-Catholic spouse of a Catholic and have always “thought about” becoming Catholic or perhaps you’ve observed the practice of the Catholic faith in friends or coworkers and wanted to know more? All adults interested in learning more about the Roman Catholic Church are invited to attend an informational session at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 14th at the Parish Life Center at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, RCIA, is a series of classes on the beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church, and through prayer and discernment, culminates with the full reception of the individual into the Catholic Church at Easter. RCIA is conducted under the guidance and direction of the Diocese of South Carolina, our pastor Fr. Paul MacNeil and lay facilitators.
If you are interested in learning more about RCIA, please contact the Parish Office at 843-237-3428 ext 8.
