Did you know that Birthright has become a true outreach center providing counseling, mentoring, diapers and other material help, as well as community resources information to women in Georgetown County who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy? To enable us to continue our mission, Birthright of Georgetown is participating in Palmetto Giving Day on May 1 and  we need your support.

This is how you can help:

  • Mail a check to:
    Birthright of Georgetown
    PO Box 3455,
    Pawleys Island, SC 29585
  • Join us and other non-profit organizations on May 1 at The
Hammock Shops in Pawleys Island from 3:00-7:00 pm for food
and entertainment to make an on-line donation at that time
to help us qualify for the matching funds.
  • Make your online donation at home on May 1 at https://palmettogivingday.org/designee/birthright-of-georgetown

Thank you for your consideration!

– Birthright Board and Volunteers

Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in the Parish Life Center, presented by Liz Attias.

A comprehensive estate plan includes documents that not only aide with the transition of your assets at death, but also assist with the management of your financial and health care decisions if you are living, but no longer able to make decisions for yourself. Without proper planning, families may need to seek Court involvement to settle issues or make decisions.

Our discussion will cover the current estate gift and tax schedule, an overview of Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney as well as ways to prepare for Probate
