Weekend Winter Update

Please see the following message from Father Paul:

“My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

In looking ahead to the weather predicted for the weekend, I plan to celebrate all three Masses.

I have made the decision to cancel Sunday’s Children’s Religious Education, OCIA, and This is Our Faith Class.

With that said, I want to assure parishioners and liturgical minsters that the Sunday obligation does not bind us when serious circumstances, such as hazardous weather, make travel unsafe. Those who were unable to attend Mass for these reasons should be at peace in their conscience and do not need to confess this as a sin.

In such cases, we unite ourselves spiritually to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and to keep holy the Lord’s day as best we are able.

Please know of my prayers for you and your families, and may the Lord keep you safe.”
